Dear Family: I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Dawn and I were friends back in the early 80s. She was a bridesmaid in my wedding and unfortunately, me and my husband moved away to New Orleans, Louisiana and, I didn't ever see Dawn again. She and I had some great times and she was a wonderful person. I remember one time in particular Dawn said to me, I bet you and Paul (my then boyfriend) get married (and we had only been dating a very short while). My response was I think that's silly to say right now and she said, I can just tell. She was very right, we did get married and have been married 21 going on 22 years. I'm sad that we didn't reconnect. I will remember her smile and fun loving personality. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Kind regards,

I remember the summers of cleaning the pool and taking care of the horses. It seems like yesterday that we were painting the barn and sneaking and smoking. We didn't keep in touch and I am sorry that we didn't. I will miss you.

Love to all,
Tracey Griffin Haley

To All of Dawn's family and Friends,
I knew Dawn in high school during the late 70's. She was full of life and always laughed and smiled. Her loss has deeply saddened me for she and another friend that I "hung around" with at that time also passed away a few years ago. I saw Dawn at the State Fair in Raleigh about 12 yrs. ago. We shortly discussed "the old days" and caught up on our lives since school. She told of her school accomplishements then. She was different in some ways but still smiling and happy. Dawn was a good friend then and I will miss her. Please know each of you are in my thoughts and prayers during this diffucult time.
With sincere sympathy,
Debra Bray-Merchant
