PAYNE Stanley M. Payne Sr., 73, Gallipolis, suddenly Saturday, March 19, 2005 in the Holzer Medical Center ER. Born October 17, 1931 in Gallia County to the late Dana and Ruth Morgan Payne. Retired supervisor from Gallipolis Developmental Center and member of Paint Creek Baptist Church. Survived by wife, Judy Briggs Payne; daughter, Linda Ragland, Columbus; sons, Terry Lee Payne, Columbus and Dana Payne, Gallipolis; step-sons, Cory Armstrong and Jonathan McCabe, both of Gallipolis, Juan McCabe, Rio Grande, Oh. and Clarence McCabe, Carlsbad, Calif.; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 8 step-grandchildren; sister, Gloria Payne, Columbus. Funeral service 12Noon Wednesday, March 23, 2005 in the Paint Creek Baptist Church, Gallipolis. Rev. Calvin Minnis officiating. Entombment in the Ohio Valley Memory Gardens.
