Lorena Orr Beasley, 76 of Robbinsville, N.C., passed away Monday, Feb. 12, 2024, at Graham Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, surrounded by her family.
	She was a native of Graham County, and the daughter of the late Eben A. and Mary Ditmore Orr of the Yellow Creek community. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Richard Hudson Beasley; and sister, Rachel Leona Orr.
	She is survived by her sons, James Mitchell Beasley (Crystal) of St. John's, Fla., and Todd Christopher Beasley (April) of Robbinsville, N.C.; grandchildren: Lindsay Campbell, Tate Beasley, Allison Hall, Kamri Bowers and Beau Beasley; four great-grandchildren: Josie, Jude and Jolie Campbell, Brooks Hall (and Ryleigh Kate Hall, arriving in March); sister, Karen O. Solesbee (Larry) of Carrollton, Ga.; brother, Lowell Jay Orr of Mableton, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews that adored her. A special recognition to Kay Kuhn, her cousin who has been her best friend and like a sister since childhood. 
	Lorena's family wishes to give sincere heartfelt thanks to her health caregivers that helped her through hard times, especially during the past year: Kay Kuhn, Kay Jones, Priscilla Lambert, Angie Grindstaff, Nancy Brooks, Rita Orr, Graham Nursing Center faculty and staff, and Four Seasons Hospice.
	Lorena was a kind and most generous person, and loved her family dearly. She enjoyed helping others and spending time with family and friends.
	Funeral services were held at 3 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 18, 2024, at the Townson-Smith Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Harold Beasley officiated. 
	Burial followed the service at Lower Yellow Creek Cemetery.   
	The family received friends from 1-3 p.m., at the chapel, prior to the service.
