It was absolute fate that I read about Rex's passing. I'll never forget him. He saved my daughter's life. Snowmobiling on King's Hill, she wandered off, 3 years old in 3 feet of snow, looking for the bathroom. He found her. She is now 47. My prayers are with you. He was a wonderful man.

I only met Rex once years ago but I do remember almost every time I heard his name, I would hear "That's impossible" right before or after.. I also know he was a genuine Comrade.

My brothers and I grew up on 8th ave So, with the Cowie family close by. I sure can recall that wonderful "laugh" Rex had and how much fun it was when he would come to visit Frank and Bill, Yup just a few doors down the Alley, that was the Schoenen's, I Have been gone over 40 years, but a friend shared Rex's Obit with me and I just wanted to extend my condolences in this time of the loss of Rex.

My Dear Friend Ron,
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your brother Rex. I only met him once when he was putting a mobile home on a foundation with his crane for my son many years ago. God be with you in this difficult time and may he rest in peace.
