Todd Combs Obituary
Eagle, Idaho —Todd Combs, husband, father, son, brother and friend, died August 13, 2014 in a car accident.
Todd was born September 1, 1974, in Great Falls, Montana, spending most of his growing years in Lewistown. His parents, Ron and Karen Combs, raised Todd and his sister, Lori with a strong work ethic, a love of the outdoors, and to put family above all.
After graduating from Fergus High School, Todd enrolled in Montana State University in Bozeman, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering in 1998. Todd went to work for Graham Dietz & Associates in Cody, Wyoming. He left Cody in 1999, to work as a Project Engineer for Toothman Orton Engineers. While working in Boise, Todd met Stephanie Glarborg. It was immediate love, and Todd and Stephanie were married in Weiser in 2002.
Megan Anne was born in 2003, and Allison Lee completed their beautiful family in 2006. Todd had a great love for his daughters. He passed on his enjoyment of the outdoors to his daughters and spent hours woodworking, riding bikes, and camping with them.
In 2007, Todd expanded his engineering skills in Land Development by joining RiveRidge Engineering. In 2008, he returned to airport engineering with USKH and finished his career with T-O Engineers. Todd loved working on the design of Friedman Memorial Airport in Hailey and enjoyed spending time with all of the people he worked with at the airport.
Todd touched many lives. He was a wonderful family person and friend. Everyone that he met became his friend and his smile and sense of humor were infectious. He will be truly missed by all that knew him.
Todd is survived by his wife, Stephanie; daughters, Megan and Allison; mother, Karen Combs; his sister, Lori Edwards and her husband, Ryan and their two daughters, Kerrigan and Lacy. Todd was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Combs.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 18, 2014 at the Alden Waggoner Funeral Chapel.

My heart hurts for your family. It was always nice to see and be around Todd. His smile was always present.
Todd worked with my husband for years. He was a cherished friend to my husband. I always loved hearing Todd stories. I know he loved his wife, his sweet daughters, and parents.
He was achieved woodworker, successful fisherman, and even a musician.
I will miss seeing that twinkle my husband would get in his eye after chatting with Todd. I don't know what they always talked about, but I know it was welcomed conversation.
So sorry I couldn't make the service, but know you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I worked with Todd on an HOA and was so impressed with his kindness, fairness and great common sense. Whether I ran in to he and Stephanie at the grocery store or he and his family riding bikes around the subdivision he always had time to stop and chat. He was a very good soul and will be missed by all who knew him. My deepest sympathy to his family.

Many memories flash before me: babysitting Todd and Lori when they were little, watching their first violin lessons, having them play at our wedding, and even a recent trip Todd made to our house. He was open to seeing new things, try new foods, and joke about crazy experiences he had. I was so pleased to reconnect. We are so sorry for this sudden tragic loss of such a genuinely wonderful man. We will miss him dearly. Our condolences to Stephanie, the girls, and the family.
