Thomas Ray King, 70, of Westcliffe, CO passed away peacefully at Memorial Hospital North in Colorado Springs, CO on Wednesday, March 3, 2021. He was born December 25, 1950 in Bakersfield, CA to Ray & Zelma Elizabeth (Hamlin) King. He was a 1969 Graduate of William S Hart High School in Newhall, CA. He also attended College of the Canyons. His trade in life was a Master Electrician with one of his many projects being the building of the Federal Prison in Florence, CO. He also worked as an independent contractor in Iraq for 3 years. Later in life, he focused more on Home Improvement. He is survived by his Partner in Life & friend Debbie King of Colorado, daughter Christina King of Colorado, daughter in love Alysha Lowe of Colorado, daughter Diana Costello & husband John of North Carolina, son Mike King & wife Rachel of Alaska, daughter Darianne Haney & husband Austen of Colorado, son Lincoln King of Colorado as well as 13 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Ray & Elizabeth King and his grandparents. He was a member of Faith Bible Baptist Church in Greeley, Colorado where he served as a Trustee. He was also a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) in Denver, Colorado. A Life Celebration will be held at Faith Bible Baptist Church by Pastor Matt Walters on Monday, March 22, 2021 at 11am.
