Michael Niespodzany Obituary
Ashwaubenon - Michael (Mike) J. Niespodzany, Sr., 65, of Ashwaubenon, passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2018. It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. He was born on January 10, 1953. Mike was the loving son of the late John and Catherine (Longfield) Niespodzany. He grew up in Pulaski, WI where he attended Assumption BVM elementary school and Pulaski High School. In high school, he excelled in football and basketball. He was employed by Fort Howard Corporation and retired from Ferrell Gas. Mike was always there to lend a hand to everyone. He had many hobbies, including fast-pitch softball, basketball, and helping his friends. Most importantly, he enjoyed following his son's sports activities, gathering with friends, spending time at the family cottage in Door County, and his special dog, Geno.
Mike leaves behind his loving wife, Lisa (Klozotsky) and son, Michael John Jr. Other survivors include his sister, Jean (Don) Schweitzer; brother, David (Kathy) Niespodzany; mother-in-law, Audrey Klozotsky; brother-in-law, John (Joanne) Klozotsky; along with several nieces, nephews and numerous friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law, John Klozotsky, Sr.
Visitation will be held at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1484 Ninth Street, on Monday, September 24, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Patrick Beno officiating. Expressions of sympathy, memories and photos may be shared with Mike's family on his tribute page at www.lyndahl.com.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Mike's memory.

Lisa, and family, my heart breaks for you all as I know the pain all too well. It was a great privilege and honor to meet Mike. He was definitely a special man. As you know I lost my father to the same rotten disease. I hope to following words bring you some comfort.
God saw he was getting tired,
And a cure was not to be,
So he put his arms around him,
And whispered "Come with me",
With tearful eyes we watched him suffer,
And saw him fade away,
Although we love him dearly,
We could not make him stay,
A golden heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands to rest,
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best,
