Paul Patrick Koeppel, 75, of Phlox, and Cherokee Village, AR, entered Eternal Life on Sun, Nov. 20, 2016. He died suddenly from a heart attack, however he fought a long, courageous battle with cancer. He was born on July 1, 1941 in Phlox, a son of Clarence and Marie (Bissonette) Koeppel . He married Marilyn Hall on Aug. 29, 1964. He attended St. Joseph Grade School, Phlox and was a graduate of Mattoon High School. He earned his Bachelor degree in Food Science from UW Madison. He was employed as Director of Procurement at Schreiber Foods Incorporated in Green Bay, retiring in 1997. After retirement he spent winters in Arkansas and enjoyed returning to Phlox for the summers to hunt, fish and spend time with family.

In addition to his wife he is survived by 2 children, Jeff (Kay), Green Bay and Kelli (Todd) Bailey, Green Bay, and 5 grandchildren; Lacey and Jared Koeppel, Dalton (Alicia), Landon, and Payton Bailey.

He is further survived by 2 sisters, Sandra (Tom) Lom, Tampa, Fl and Helen (Bob) Aiken, Germantown; 4 brothers, Greg (Vicki), and Ben of Antigo, John (Donna), Green Bay, David (Carol), Menomonee Falls; 2 sisters-in-law, Shirley Koeppel, Colorado Springs, CO, and Marcia Lininger, Milton, WI; a brother-in-law, James (Dian) Hall, Milton, WI.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary and his brother, Ron.

A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, Nov. 26, at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Holy Family Catholic Church, Phlox. Visitation will be held at the Bradley Funeral Home, Antigo on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. and at the church on Saturday one hour prior to the service.
