Roy was very committed to the success of St. Brigid School. As an education committee member, he was always anxious to see that the best practices were in place for the good of the students. He and his wife Carol were wonderful supporters. He will be missed. So sorry that I could not be there for his funeral, but I had another commitment. He and Carol are in my prayers.

Roy Cassidy was one of the finest human beings I have ever met. He was an inspirational teacher to our children and went the extra mile for us with our oldest son. He was my life saver during a very difficult time. He will be missed by so many. May his wife and family find comfort in knowing Roy was loved and we will mourn with them. Goodbye to UD STATS. You will always be remembered.

I am truly saddened to learn of the passing of one of my Xenia High School 1965 'hang out in the hall buddies" . Roy was smart and personable. I considered him a true friend. I saw him last-- the summer of 2017 at the horse races @ the Greene Co.Fair. Roy was a winner and was always upbeat & pleasant. Gonna miss ya pal. I will see you soon back home with the Father. Farewell for now. R.I.P.

Roy was one of the most loyal friends anyone could have...and he cared about everyone.
The UD stats crew will especially miss his attempts to tell jokes that were lousier than Jeff's. We're all glad that was one thing he couldn't do!
God bless and comfort Carol, Katie and family.
