XENIA — Sharon (Sherri) Isabelle Fawley, 77, of Xenia, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2023, at The Kobacker House in Columbus, Ohio. She was born June 18, 1946, in Xenia, Ohio, the daughter of Leon and Alberta (Ennis) Fawley. She is survived by her sisters, Jennifer Fannin (Fawley), Columbus, and Judi Fawley Remenyi, Columbus. Sherri leaves behind nieces, Raechel (Jason) Conover, Kimberly Remenyi, Jessica (Matt) Houser, Anastasia Barber, Erica (Kenneth) Cotterman, Erin Fawley, and nephews Charles (Christine) Fannin, Ben Fannin, A.J. Barber, Matt (Kassandra Thomas) Fawley, as well as ten great-nieces and nephews, a great aunt, Rosemary Fawley, Xenia, and many close friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, David Allen Fawley, and sister, Jacki Fawley Kettering. Sherri had many interests, including hypnosis, writing, art, and political activism. She was a passionate crusader for women's rights and would gladly debate politics with anyone. She had an easy laugh and a good sense of humor that made everyone feel comfortable. Sherri will be cremated, and a memorial is scheduled for September 10th at the Shawnee Lake shelter at 1:30 P.M. Sherri and Maynard were college roommates and friends for over 50 years. Sherri was passionate about her causes and loyal to her friends. I will miss her.
