Kimberly Dawn Ricker Archer, affectionately known to many as "Bodean", 49, of Greeneville, passed away Wednesday surrounded by her mother and sister at Fort Sanders Medical Center in Knoxville after a brief battle with Uterine Cancer.
She was the office manager with Archer Bros. Garage in Jonesborough.
Kim loved all animals especially her dog, Kaylee Ann.
She is survived by her mother: Carol and Don Foshee; sisters and brothers-in-law: Angie and Jeff Gosnell, Lori and Mike Finchum, and Rhonda Simms; brothers: Ronnie Foshee and Allen Ricker; aunts and uncles: Jerry and Julie Wilburn, Terry Wilburn, Mike and Sandy Wilburn, Peggy and Howard Thornburg, Kyle and Norma Jean Foshee, Diane and Diz Pierce, and Lynn Foshee; local nieces and nephews: Makensie Jones, CeJ Jones, Justin Gosnell, Joseph Gosnell, Zach and Haley Finchum, Aaron Finchum, Sydney Finchum, Sarah and Richard Lavender, Cameron Foshee, Bryce Foshee, and Jennifer Greenlee; local cousins: Courtney and Josh Pierce, Heather Wilburn and Justin Laws, Korey Wilburn, Aiden Pierce, Lakelynn Pierce, and Brennan Laws; several other cousins; and many dear and special friends.
She was preceded in death by her father: Lynn Ricker; a nephew: Jimmy Greenlee; and her grandparents: Berlin and Iray Wilburn, and Herman and Lucille Foshee.
The family will receive friends from noon until 4 p.m. Sunday at Jeffers Funeral & Cremation Service, downtown. The funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. in Jeffers Downtown Chapel with Pastor Jim Fields officiating.
The graveside service will be Monday at 11 a.m. in Cross Anchor Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:15 a.m. to go in procession to the cemetery.
Pallbearers will include Jeff Gosnell, Mike Finchum, Josh Pierce, Pee Wee Snelson, Mark Snelson, Doug Snelson, Todd Snelson, Ed Wathen, and William Franklin.
Honorary pallbearers will include Jerad Hurst, Eddie Ray Bailey, Robert Carberry, and Lynn Archer.
