Shelby Jean Gosnell, 85, of Royce Street, Greeneville passed away Sunday at Greeneville Community Hospital.
She was a member of Mt. Bethel Free Will Baptist Church.
She retired from Five Rivers.
She is survived by her sons: Glenn (Lisa) Gosnell and Randy Gosnell; her daughter: Pam Gosnell; grandchildren: Rachel Gosnell, Jordan Tarlton, Barret Gosnell; great-grandchildren: Kendall Turner, Carter Wallen; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and dear friends: Alberta Ricker, Shirley Norton and Lula Belle Cutshaw.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Chester Gosnell; a son: Nathan Gosnell; her parents: John and Nina Sams; brothers: Carmen Grover Sams, Ray Sams; and half-brothers: Vivan Stanton and Pastel Stanton.
The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Friday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. Friday in Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel. The Rev. Dwayne Steele and the Rev. Chris Washam will officiate.
Interment will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in Piney Grove Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 1 p.m. to go in procession to the cemetery.
Pallbearers will include Gary Sexton, Mike Sams, Derrick Gosnell, Jody Gosnell, Eddie Darnell, and Keith Johnson.
