Greensboro — Desmond Patrick Morrissey, 86, died Thursday, January 27, 2022. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 11, at St. Pius Catholic Church. Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home is assisting the family.

We worked with Desmond at the Greensboro Urban Ministry for 20 years and knew his life and family by hearing him talk. I'm sure you children know how very much he loved you. Such a loving person, a true gentleman.
