Loving wife, mother and grandmother, Joyce B. English was born February 18, 1939 and passed away peacefully on September 27, 2022. She held fast to her faith and worshipped at First Baptist Church of Greensboro for 48 years, where she served as a deacon, member of the choir and member of WMU.
Along with her husband, David, she was a co-owner operator of Action Printing Center and later worked in sales for Barnett Travel Agency.
Joyce was predeceased by her parents, Philip and Gerry Bowman (Maryland), sisters, Coleen Orndorff (Ohio) and Janice Patterson (Maryland) and infant granddaughter, Virginia Joyce Hill (Greensboro). She is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years, David C. English, daughter Sondra Hill (Skip) of Raleigh, NC, son Michael (Andrea) of Buford, GA; grandchildren, Spencer Hill, Andrew Hill (Ashley), Preston Hill, Brandon Hill, Catherine Hill, Alex English (Valerie) and William English and sister, Barbara Swede (Louisiana).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donations to Alzheimer's Disease Research, 22512 Gateway Center Drive, Clarksburg, MD 20871. Online condolences may be offered at www.haneslineberryfhnorthelm.com.
