I have known Kevin too many years to count, we were family without the blood. He was a wonderful uncle to my sister Jameka and a great friend to anyone who came into his presence. You will be truly missed by so many people. Rest easy my friend.

Lady Angela Maxwell, I am very sorry for your loss. I am praying for you and the family and I will keep you in my prayers.
Pastor Max, as I called you, I will miss you, my friend. We first met when we were both working at N.C. A&T and we instantly struck up a friendship. Outside of our love for God and His people, another thing we had in common was our love of bow ties. I didn't know how to tie a bow tie (I had LOTS of pre-tied bow ties), and you took the time to show me how to do it. I'll always appreciate that. We chatted in November on your birthday and made plans to get together for lunch on my next trip back home to N.C. I'm sad that we won't get to share that lunch, but I am overjoyed to know that you are in the Place that you lived for and strived to get to: you're in Heaven and forever in the presence of Jesus. You fought a good fight, you finished your course, you kept the faith, and now a crown of righteousness is waiting for you. Love you, Brother, and I thank for being my friend all these years...rest well and I'll see you when we all gather around God's throne.

Giving leaves an imprint that endures forever-African Proverb. Although your time with us seems all too brief, GOD wanted you now and he set you free. It is important for you to know that you truly made a difference here. You reached out to others warmly and generously. You accomplished a lot and gave a great deal.
We know that you are following the path GOD led for you and could not stay another day to laugh, to work or play. Your parting has left a void, but your AGGIE FAMILY will fill it with memories of Kevin joys. We love you Kevin! Your college advisor--Dr. Cathy Kea

I´m an older student who was embarrassed about needing OARS services my whole schooling but I decided with my PhD to get past that. Mr. Maxwell was first person I meet in OARS office. He immediately made me feel better and significant. We later had orientation and he empowered us with so much important information, gave us tools to succeed, and called us a family. He opened his door to anyone and always believed in his work and students and privilege of his office. He was the best and it makes my heart very heavy to know he´s gone. I do believe in heavenly homecomings though, thanks be to God. My one solace is I know he´s there now finding a new way to serve.
