Warren "Pops" Roberts Warren Andrew "Pops" Roberts, 85 of 1128 South Boston Hwy, Danville, VA, died on Sunday, June 8, 2014, in Riverside Health and Rehab Center after being in declining health for the past two years. Mr. Roberts was born in Carroll County, VA, on October 1, 1928, a son to the late Kenny Roberts and Clyde Hendricks Roberts. He moved to Danville from Galax, VA in 1951 where he has owned and operated the Glenwood Upholstery Shop until his decline in health. Mr. Roberts was of the Baptist Faith. He was a member of the Antique Automobile Club of America for a number of years and he loved to attend the Hillsville, VA Flea Market. In April of 1947 he married the late Nina Marie Bryant Roberts who died on February 20, 1987. On December 24, 1989 he married Anna Sizemore Roberts. Mr. Roberts is survived by two sons, Larry W. Roberts and wife, Rhonda of Danville, VA, and Greg P. Roberts and wife, Lisa of Danville, VA; daughter in law, Carol B. Roberts; four grandchildren, Brittney Roberts, Eric Roberts, Jessica Perdue and Julia Aaron; three great grandchildren, Summer Neal, Ethan White and Harley Grace Marlowe and a special friend, Joyce Harper. He was predeceased by one son, Clayton W. Roberts, two brothers, Duma L. Roberts and K.C. Roberts; and two sisters, Odean Roberts and Ruth Worrell. Funeral Services for Mr. Roberts were conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 10, 2014, from the Wrenn-Yeatts North Main Chapel by the Reverend Roy Newton. Interment followed in Highland Burial Park. The family received friends at the funeral home Monday, June 9, 2014, from 6 until 8 p.m. and at other times at the residence 1128 South Boston Hwy, Danville, VA 24540.
