Frank Fleming Obituary

Frank Fleming, 79, husband of Nadene Phillips Fleming, of 3 Mesa Drive, died Tuesday, April 15, 2003.

A U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II, he retired after 30 years from Pet Dairy and was an employee of American Security for 17 years. He was a member of Monaghan Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, the Rev. Robert Frank Fleming, and wife, Renee, of Marietta, and Roger Scott Fleming, and wife, April, of Travelers Rest; a sister, Margaret Fleming Henderson, of Florida; brothers, Jack Marion Gaddis, of Greer, L. Buck Fleming, of Travelers Rest, and William B. Thomas, of Greenville; granddaughters, Ashley Renee Pruitt, and husband, Tommy, and Amanda Allison Fleming; and grandsons, Robert Jeremy Fleming, Roger Blake Fleming, Brandon Scott Fleming and Joseph Taylor Fleming.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. today at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Monaghan Baptist Church. The body will lie in state at the church 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Monaghan Baptist Church Building Fund, 1500 W. Parker Road, Greenville, SC 29617.
