Robert "Bob" A. Taylor, Jr.

Greenville

Robert "Bob" A. Taylor, Jr., 83, of Greenville, husband of Sara Vaughn Taylor, died Sunday, January 8, 2017.

Born in Ware Shoals, he was a son of the late Robert Allen, Sr. and Mable Free Taylor.

Bob was a member of Monaghan Baptist Church. He retired from Rental Uniform/ Cintas in 1994 and was an avid golfer at Lakeview Golf Course.

In addition to his loving wife of 65 years, he is survived by two daughters, Pat McCarter (Jim) and Angie Roberson (Steve); two grandchildren, Jamie McCarter (Tammy) and Jennifer McKelvey; and five great grandchildren, Jessica and Jacob McCarter, Taylor, Mason, and Sara Rose McKelvey,

He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, January 11, 2017 form 12:00 p.m. until 1:15 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest with the funeral service to follow at 1:30 p.m. in the Northwest chapel. Burial will be held in Mountain View Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Monaghan Baptist Church, Golden Agers, 1500 W. Parker Rd, Greenville, SC 29617.
