Ann Summers Obituary
Her devoted husband of 47 years, Richard Summers, and other family members were at her bedside.
Born in Greenwich on January 11,1934, Ann was the daughter of Mary (Lally) and Everett Barnes. She attended Greenwich High School and was a homemaker most of her life. Ann was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
She enjoyed extensive world travels.
In addition to her husband Richard, Ann is survived by three daughters, Debra Nielson of Stamford, Dana Henderson of Southbury and Diane Summers Yelton of Trumbull; a son, Richard Summers, Jr., of Greenwich; and a stepdaughter Bonnie Summers of Norwalk She was predeceased by her daughter, Dawn Summers, of Hudson, Florida in 2004. Ann is also survived by 12 grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Calling hours will be from 4-8 PM on Wednesday, June 7, 2006 at the Castiglione Funeral Home, 134 Hamilton Ave., Greenwich, CT. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 AM on Thursday, June 8, 2006 at St. Mary's Church in Greenwich. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Greenwich, CT.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Greenwich Boys & Girls Club, PO Box 4718, Greenwich, CT 06830.
