Mark Steven McLean

1954 - 2021

Mark Steven McLean, 67, of Gridley passed away on July 1, 2021 at The Courtyard Assisted Living in Chico, CA. Mark was born to Harold and Linda McLean on January 12, 1954 in Marysville, CA. His family lived in the Gridley-Biggs area his whole life. He attended local schools and graduated from Gridley High School in 1972. While in high school he achieved the American Farmer's award through F.F.A. After high school he attended Snow College in Utah, where he received his A.S. degree. While in college he rode bulls on the Rodeo Team. After college he returned home where he continued to show swine at County Fairs and pursued a career in the hog business along with driving trucks. He is proceeded in death by his parents, Harold and Linda McLean. He is survived by a brother, Mike McLean (Renie), sister Sue Orme (mark), a brother Chris McLean (Lori), several nieces and nephews. Bishop Terry Hamblin of the Gridley Third Ward LDS Church will officiate the service, which will be held on July 9th, 2021 at 11:00 am at the LDS church on Spruce Street, Gridley.
