Charles Edward "Charlie" Daugherty

1966-2015 Mr. Charles "Charlie" Edward Daugherty, 49, of Ocean Springs, died Thursday, December 17, 2015. Mr. Daugherty served his county in the United States Army for ten years. He has been employed with Chevron Refinery for the past sixteen years where he was a hard worker who always gave two hundred percent. He also served as an EMT and a past Chief of Barton Volunteer Fire Department. He loved hunting, fishing, his Saints, Southern Miss, and Ole Miss. He will be best remembered as a loving and caring husband, devoted family man, caring and encouraging father, and loyal friend. Although he and his wife were only married for five years, (six together), they have known one another since they were kids and were childhood sweethearts. He is preceded in death by his Me-Mama and Granddaddy Rogers. Survivors include his soulmate of 5 years, Michelle Wescovich Daugherty; sons, Lance (Elizabeth) Daughtery, Jarod Wescovich, and Jamie Stumph; daughter, Emily (Justin) Jackson; parents Charles Lee and Angelyn Daughtery; brother, Robin (Laura) Daugherty; sister, Regina (Chris) Williamson; granddaughter, Alexis Jackson, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members. The family will receive friends from 8:30 – 10:00 am Monday, December 21, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Ocean Springs with Mass of Christian Burial following at 10 am.
