I am an old family friend of the Hammons who was around the family and thought of all of you like my own. I always was excited when you all came to town. Uncle Chuck was a good man and will be missed. I apologize that I cannot make it to the arrangements as my Daddy is fighting for his life right now but my thoughts and prayers are with you Linda, Jenny, and Grandma and really the whole family.

To the Hammons family as well- my thoughts are prayers are with you too with the struggle of loosing an Uncle and a brother.

I love you all and may God bless each and every one of you.

My fondest childhood memories are with the Thornhill family.
Chuck taught me how to properly throw a baseball with much patience. Despite my lack of athletic ability, I could count on Chuck, to play on his team for a game of backyard baseball. He loved life. May God comfort the Thornhill family at this time. You are all surrounded with love.

To Chuck's family, Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Chuck is a super person. It was an honor and privledge to to have him in our lives. The work he did on Census was unparelled. He was a man of his word, a man of honor and man of integrity. We here at Census and GPO will always appreciate his friendship, professionalism and great sense of humor. He was truly an "everyman". Peace be with you Chuck.

I was so very sad to hear that Chuck passed away so quickly, he was a good friend....no he was family, and I will truely miss having him around. His part is over, now the hardest part is for the family to pick up and move forward. My thoughts and prayers are for you as you continue to go on living the life Chuck wanted for you.
