Monserrate Warden Obituary
NEWBURGH, Ind. - Monserrate (Vasquez) Warden, 81, of Newburgh, Indiana, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2023, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. She was born on June 14, 1941 in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, to the late Epifanio Minguela and Jaunita Minguela Vasquez.
Monserrate loved spending her time cooking, sewing and gardening.
She is survived by her daughters, Leyda Pendergrass and Cynthia McNeill; her grandchildren, Thomas Pendergrass, Marissa Pendergrass, Gordon McNeill, Gabrielle McNeill and Ross McNeill as well as her siblings, Hilda Mendoza and Clara Vasquez.
Monserrate is preceded in death by her siblings, Jose Angel Vasquez, Leyda Vasquez, Mirta Vasquez, Aida Vasquez, Oswaldo Vasquez and Tomas Vasquez.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
Simple Cremation Evansville is entrusted with care.
