Dear Paul and family,

So sorry for your loss, which, although severe, is but a momentary struggle in light of the hope we have for eternity. May your wonderful memories make the burden lighter, as you rejoice that his struggle is over.

Our hearts go out to you Aunt Dula, Judy, Paul, and John, as well as your families. Uncle Rudy was a good man. I remember with fondness watching him romping on the sand, swimming, and jumping the waves at Old Orchard Beach. He delighted being at the shore. I can still picture him playing cards with his brother-in-laws. Uncle Rudy was a formidable opponent who, more often than not, took home his share of the pot. And as I look back at those times of family gatherings it was evident that you, Aunt Dula, was the love of his life, and Paul, Judy, and John were sources of great joy and pride. We are so sorry for your loss and will keep you in our prayers.
With love,
Keith, Nancy, Brian and Eric

We were so sorry to hear about the sudden loss of a husband, father, grandfather. When I think of Rudy, I think of him as "The Quiet One" [of David's aunts and uncles] and of his devotion and loyalty to Dula and family. You are all in our prayers. ~Ruth & David Failor

Our deepest sympathy to Paul and the rest of the family. Even with just knowing Paul, I can tell how special of a man Mr.Lis must have been, because I seen the good characteristics that Paul has. Just hold in your hearts the find memories and know that as long as you keep him in your hearts, he'll never be gone.

To my Aunt Dula and cousins Judy, Paul & John, I'm sorry to hear about the passing of your Dad. A fond memory that stands out is the visit to Omaha in 1993 from Uncle Rudy and Aunt Dula. They were the first of my relatives from Connecticut to meet our new born son -- Joseph. We captured the moment with a photo and it's one of our favorite memories. Uncle Rudy was a great man and one that I admired and loved. We love you all. Mike, Carla & Joe Failor & Tyler Thorn.
