Andrew Angelovich Obituary
Andrew A. Angelovich, 75, died Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Hartford Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Meredith P. (McElhone) Angelovich. Mr. Angelovich was born in Stamford on October 3, 1939, son of the late Andrew and Frances (Galetto) Angelovich and had been a Torrington resident for many years. He was an Army National Guard Veteran and was a retired crane operator and member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 478. Mr. Angelovich enjoyed welding, metal fabrication and working on anything mechanical. His pastimes included skiing, fishing, and working on cars. Survivors, in addition to his wife Meredith, include a daughter, Nancy P. St. Pierre and her husband Michael of Harwinton, two grandchildren, Amanda St. Pierre and Christopher St. Pierre, a brother, Albert Angelovich of Torrington, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 12:00p.m. at Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, 258 Prospect St., Torrington. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Torrington. Friends may call Saturday morning from 10:00a.m. to 12:00p.m. Friends who so desire may make memorial contributions to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 20 Batterson Park Rd. #302, Farmington, CT 06032.
