Keith:
When someone whom we love lives a life diminished by medical problems, we grieve. I know you missed the mom you loved so much whose life was shadowed by health conditions that altered the person with whom you wished you could communicate more clearly. And now her departure from your touch and sight makes her passing even more acute. Unfortunately, you can see her only in your mind’s eye and hold her only in your heart. Rest assured that the physical separation does not erode the bond that existed between the two of you and I’m sure that she was so proud of the responsible and caring gentleman that she helped you become. I’ve no doubt that the commendable traits that embody the person you are were born from the seeds planted and nurtured by your loving mom. The best legacy for any parent is to have offspring that mirror the best that is in a parent. You are doing that now.
My prayers and sympathies go out to you, your dad, your siblings, and your entire family.
