My uncle was crazy and didn’t believe most of what he told me. I guess that’s why I love him so much, because he was never dull… never the same old same old. I knew no matter what he told me whether it was true or not, that he always had my back. I knew that my uncle when the chips were down or up, that he would always come through. Yea he might have you jumping through hoops or sweating bullets, but at the end of the day MY UNCLE got it done or he had someone else get it done… but it got done. Those who no Benny no full dam well what I am talking about. Thanks UNC for giving me a life time of smiles and stories, I will never ever ever forget you and how much you have impacted my life.

To The Hodges Family,
May God give you comfort during your time of bereavement. I've known Benny, Evelyn all my life, we all went to school together; although I haven't seen Benny in years I remember him fondly. Know that God Almighty's purpose is greater than ours and he knows best for he promised never to leave or forsake us. God Bless you.

My father was definitely a character. Me and my cousin Horace use to take his car when he was asleep and go joy riding. He would wake up and tell us that we can't pull anything over on him because he was the boss of all bosses. I’m happy that my daughter Taylor Hodges got the opportunity to visit him, share pictures and socialize just days before his passing. I will miss both Ben Jr. and Ben Sr. and my grandmother Thelma Hodges dearly. Thanks for everyone who expressed concern. Benjamin Hodges III
