Bernt ANDERSON Obituary
ANDERSON, Bernt R.
Bernt R. Anderson, 84, of New Britain, husband of Esther Eleanor (Erickson) Anderson, passed away peacefully Saturday (October 13) at home, with his family by his side. Born in Munksford, Sweden, Bernt moved to New Britain in 1956. A Carpenter by trade, He was employed by the former Carlson & Torrell Contracting and Later Frank Downes in New Britain. He was a member of First Lutheran Church in New Britain; the Carpenters Local 24; and the SVEA Social Club in Kensington. Bernt was an avid New York Rangers fan and loved life and telling stories. Besides his wife Esther Eleanor Anderson, he is survived by three daughters, Linda Anderson of New Britain; Deborah Berger and her husband Kim of Allamuchym, NJ; and Karen Falcone and her husband Matthew of Wanaque, NJ; three grandchildren that he adored, Michael Berger and Erik and Megan Falcone; and three loving nieces and nephew in Sweden, Agneta, Birgitta, Yvonne and Leonard. He was predeceased by two sisters, Doris and Irene.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday 10 a.m. at Carlson Funeral Home, 45 Franklin Square, New Britain, followed by burial in Fairview Cemetery.
