To The Blackwood Family

As most of you know, the Blackwood-Ciniero relationship began nearly 50 years ago when Jack Blackwood married Gloria Ciniero. During that time Mr. and Mrs. B, as they were lovingly known, always brought their own style, warmth and cheer to family gatherings. After her husband passed away, Mrs. B continued to visit her California family regularly, and the Cinieros always considered her visits a "special event". She was a bridge between generations; a woman possessed of charm, wit, intellect and refinement. A "lady" in the truest sense of the word, and a role model for all generations who followed her. It was our privilege to have known her and your good fortune to have had her for so long.

Dear Tom and Family,

I wanted to write and let you know how much Dorothy will be missed at Evergreen. I was sitting at my desk today and I looked over at Dorothy's room and thought a very special person is missing from my day. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
