Marc Michael RAYMOND

RAYMOND, Marc Michael Marc Michael Raymond, 31, of Inverness, FL, formerly of South Windsor, was carried home peacefully by the Lord on Sunday (November 29, 2009), with his family by his side at Citrus Memorial Hospital. Marc was born on Jan. 27, 1978, the son of Donald F. and Julie (Jevitts) Raymond. Marc attended South Windsor Schools and worked as a First Mate on a yacht and traveled the Caribbean. He had a passion for animals and worked at Animal Rescue Kingdom in Ocala, FL, and Wild Bill's Animal Sanctuary in Inverness, FL, and was owner and operator of Magic Touch Detailing. Aside for his passion for animals, Marc enjoyed his mother's cooking, and fishing. Marc was a devoted son, brother and friend. In addition to his parents, Marc leaves, four brothers Joe Raymond and Paul Raymond of Manchester, CT, Todd and wife Terry of Bernardston, MA, Tom Raymond and wife Lisa of Vernon, VT; a sister Jennifer Thomas of Enfield, CT; his girl friend Alaina Richardson of Dunnellon, FL; and close friend, James Inghilleri of Tolland; and loving family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and cherished friends. Marc was preceded in death by his cousin and best friend, Deanna (Spittlehouse) Hahn of Inverness, FL. His family will receive family and friends for A Celebration of Life Service, on Friday, December 18, 2009, for 5-8 p.m., at Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home, 419 Buckland Rd., South Windsor. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2009, at St. Philip Church, Rt. 5, in East Windsor, at 10.30 a.m., with a reception to follow. Burial will be private at the request of the family.
