Michael K. Crowley

Michael K. Crowley, 65, of Glastonbury, formerly of Old Saybrook, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at his home. He was the beloved husband of Sharon (Aldieri) Crowley for 11 years. Born and raised in New Britain, son of Dorothy and James (Gavin) Crowley of Newington, he lived in Newington prior to living in Old Saybrook. Michael had recently retired from Vital Nutrients of Middletown. He was active in sports growing up and continued to enjoy baseball and football especially as a Red Sox and Patriots fan. Michael enjoyed cooking for his family, spending time near the water and most recently with his adored grandchildren. Along with his wife and parents, he leaves his daughter Michaela Crowley of Branford, his stepchildren, Sean Sweeney and his wife Caitlin of Portland and Maura Peters and her husband Chris of Glastonbury, and his three grandchildren, Colin Sweeney, Lily Peters, and Cole Peters. He also leaves his siblings, Bill Crowley and his wife Kim, Jim Crowley, Jack Crowley and his wife Jane, Mark Crowley, Donna Bassett and her husband Doug and Brian Crowley and his wife Ruth, sister-in-law Doreen Rackliffe and her husband David, and brothers-in-law, Michael Aldieri and his wife Carrie, and David Aldieri and his wife Kristen, and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Sunday, October 23rd from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Duksa Family Funeral Homes at Newington Memorial, 20 Bonair Ave., Newington. His funeral service will begin on Monday, October 24th, at 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, Newington.
