Patricia M. Gotimer

Patricia "Pat" M. Gotimer, 57, passed away peacefully at Montefiore Nyack Hospital, Nyack, NY on Friday, April 10, 2020, after a long illness. Born in Huntington, NY she was the daughter of the late Harry A. and Patricia L. (O'Connell) Gotimer. Pat leaves behind her siblings Daniel Gotimer and his wife Sharon, Kathleen (Gotimer) Garlasco and her husband Mark, Harry Gotimer III and his wife Teresa, Jennifer Gotimer wife of the late Gerard Gotimer, as well as, eleven beloved nieces and nephews, one great-nephew and dear friend Jodi Howe. Pat was preceded in death by her twin sister Pamela Gotimer and her oldest brother Gerard Gotimer. Raised in Hauppauge, NY and then Farmingville, NY Pat attended Sachem High School. Pat went on to obtain her Associate Degree from Suffolk County Community College. Pat worked in the transportation industry for many years in Hartford County, CT and Rockland County, NY. She loved children and for many years was a school bus driver. Pat loved animals, especially her cats. They were her passion. She also loved the outdoors and fishing. Pat's positive attitude and generous spirit were shared with everyone she encountered. She had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone, even if it was a stranger. A visitation and memorial service will be held at a later date at Hayes-Huling & Carmon Funeral Home. Donations in Pat's memory may be made to the Montefiore Liver Transplant Center, Bronx, NY.
