Paul Osypuk

OSYPUK, Paul Paul Osypuk, 92, formerly of Sunset Terrace and a resident here since 1967, died Saturday in Baystate Medical Center, Springfield, MA. Born in Flushing, NY, he had graduated from Grover Cleveland High School in Brooklyn, NY, and had previously lived in Baltimore, MD and Forestville, CT. Paul was a retired quality control representative for Pratt & Whitney Air Craft, retiring in 1981 after 31 years of employment. He was a member of the Franklin Masonic Lodge, #56 in Bristol, the Sphinx Temple of Hartford where he served as a Lieutenant, an aide to the Potentate, was a member of the Royal Order of Jesters, and was one of only two members to have 55 years of membership. Paul was also an Ambassador to the Springfield Melha Temple, and was a member of the Agawam Golden Agers. Paul is survived by three sons, Stephen Osypuk of Ellington, John P. Osypuk of Hartford, and Paul David Osypuk of West Springfield, MA; a sister, Ann Stillwaggon of Chambersburg, PA; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Elsie (Buckson) Osypuk in 2006. Funeral services will be Friday, April 3, at 10 a.m. at the Colonial-Forastiere Funeral Home, 985 Main St. Agawam. Burial will follow in Springfield Street Cemetery, Feeding Hills, MA.
