Raymond B. Gorski

GORSKI, Raymond B. Raymond B. Gorski, 78, of Arrowhead Drive, West Simsbury, husband of Veronica (Rybczyk) Gorski, passed away Wednesday, (June 16, 2004) at John Dempsey Hospital in Farmington. He was born July 7, 1925, in Bristol, son of the late William and Aneila (Niemczyk) Gorski and had lived in West Simsbury for the past 35 years. He was a veteran of World War II, having served with the United States Marine Corps, Fourth Marine Division. Mr. Gorski was President of Electronic Coil Corp. in Farmington for many years prior to his retirement in 1990. He was a member of the Church of Saint Ann in Avon. Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Ronald B. Gorski of Granby, and Raymond B. Gorski, Jr. and his wife Janet of Avon; a granddaughter, Karina of Granby; sisters-in-law, Marion Gorski of Bristol, Lillian Gorski of Anchorage, AK, Sophie Matysczyk of Forestville, and Victoria Schwarzmann of Bristol; a brother-in-law, Stanley Marcinczyk of Bristol; and many nieces and nephew. He was predeceased by two brothers, Ted and Henry and a sister, Helen Marcinczyk. Private Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at the Church of Saint Ann, Avon. Burial with Military Honors was in St. Ann's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Church of Saint Ann, 289 Arch Road, Avon, CT 06001. Vincent Funeral Home, 120 Albany Turnpike, Canton assisted the family with arrangements.
