FELDMAN, Samuel B. Samuel B. Feldman, 52, of Avon, beloved husband for 20 years of Debra (Ezarsky) Feldman, died Tuesday, (June 12, 2007), surrounded by his loving family, after a battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP), which he fought with strength and courage. His positive attitude and selflessness was an inspiration to all. Sam graduated Syracuse University, and The University of Miami School of Law. He became an Attorney in 1979 and practiced until 2005, when his illness forced him to retire. He was a member of The Arbitrator - Judicial Authority 1995-2005, The Jewish Federation 2003-2004, and a board member of Tumble Brook Country Club 1994-2004. Sam had a great sense of humor and laughed every day. He enjoyed coaching basketball and soccer and loved to be involved with his greatest joys, his sons Joshua Feldman 18, and Jonathan Feldman 16. Besides his wife, mother and sons, Sam leaves his in-laws, Robert and Audrey Ezarsky of Toms River, N J; his step-father, Louis Meltzer of Lake Worth, FL; his brothers, Dr. Tom Feldman and his wife, Dr. Joyce Kamanitz of West Hartford, and Steve Feldman and his wife Laura of Buffalo Grove, IL, his step-sister, Susan Ahlers and her husband Michael of West Hartford; his step-brother, Jim Meltzer and his wife Lois of West Simsbury; his brother-in-law Barry and his wife Maryellen Ezarsky of Matthews, NC; his nieces, Sara Feldman, Jessica Feldman, and Lauren Meltzer; and his nephews, Michael Ezarsky, Brett Ezarsky. Ryan Whitley and Daniel Ahlers. Funeral services will be held TODAY, June 14, 2007 at 12:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary of Beth El Temple, 2626 Albany Avenue, West Hartford, CT with Rabbi James Rosen officiating. Interment will follow at Beth El Temple Cemetery, Avon. A memorial period will be observed at his home, 2 Brian Lane, Avon, Thursday following the funeral through Sunday evening. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Samuel B. Feldman Memorial Fund, c/o McLean's Hospice, 75 Great Pond Road, Simsbury, CT 06070. Debbie, Josh, and Jon,
I'm so glad I had the privilege of knowing Sam all of these years. Sam was the best attorney and friend I could have ever hoped for.
He was a true professional and commanded respect from all his peers.

I will remember you and Sam for your kindness and help over the years.

With my deepest sympathy.

Sam worked tirelessly to save a community of 36 homes, Spice Glen, when no one else would step up to help. I remain grateful always for his partnership on that case, and for knowing the right thing to do for people. He will be most missed in the legal community. My thoughts are with the family.

Debbie, Josh, and Jon,
I'm so glad I had the privilege of knowing Sam all of these years. Even though we didn't see each other often, I always enjoyed getting our family's together. (It was always interesting to watch Josh and Dana's growth.) Through the way Sam delt with his illness, and the way all of you lived your life was an inspiration to me and an example of how to live each day to the fullest; don't sweat the small stuff, and always show those that you love how you truly feel each day. I love you all,
Ellen (Ronsivalli)
