Theresa Stephenson Obituary

Theresa (Lozier) Stephenson, 55, of Glastonbury, died peacefully Monday February 12, 2018. Born March 30, 1962 in Bristol, daughter of the late Romeo J. and Theresa L. Lozier, she had lived in Glastonbury for the past 10 years. Theresa was a realtor with Berkshire Hathaway in Glastonbury. Theresa was an avid lover of the Native American culture and the peaceful energy that it provided to her. Theresa's passions included cooking and she loved nothing more than spending a day in the kitchen with her girls. Theresa loved watching her younger children's baseball games. She rarely missed a game or a chance to cheer them on from the side. A perfect day for Theresa was a picnic outside in the sun with all of her children whom she is most proud of. Theresa was most fulfilled in life by her role as a Mother. She is survived by her 6 loving children, Samantha LaFountain of Bristol, Casey Pepin and her husband Ryan of Glastonbury, Kayla Eisenman and her husband Kraig of Bristol, Matthew Stephenson of Avon, Kylei Stephenson and Colby Stephenson both of Glastonbury, 3 brothers and their wives, Robert and Clara Lozier of Terryville, Daniel and Georgette Lozier of Terryville, James and Helen Lozier of Bristol, a sister Carol Wedge and her husband Russell of Burlington and her beloved cat Mousif. Theresa was undoubtedly an inspiration to all those who she came into contact with. She had great wisdom which she selflessly shared with others. She will be very deeply missed by so many. Memorial service celebrating her life will be Monday February 19 at 11am in the First Church of Christ, Congregational, 2183 Main St., Glastonbury. Friends may call at the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury on Sunday Feb. 18 from 3-6pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Connecticut Hospice, Inc. in Branford, CT at http://www.hospice.com/donate/. For online condolences please visit www.mulryanfh.com.

I just saw the news of Terry's passing in the paper and wanted to express my condolences to her family and friends. I met Terry a a few summer's ago at the bus stop for our children's camp and even though we did not know each other well I was touched by her kindness and generosity when she gave me her number as a contact if I was ever running late for the bus. We kept in touch over the years and I was always impressed by her and so sorry to hear of her passing. I'm sure she lives on in the memories and hearts of many.

my beautiful sister. I will always remember our breakfast meetings at Chips and going with Bob to the Olive Garden. Most of all I will always remember how wonderful you were to me when I was ill in the hospital. As sick as you were you always took care of others. When you were born mommy called you her little papoose. You really looked like a little Indian baby I am convinced you had more then a little native American blood in your veins. I will miss you my angel. Sleep well, we will see you again someday.
