FOLEY, Thomas I. Thomas I. Foley, 100, of West Hartford, husband of the late Alyce (Higgins) Foley, passed away peacefully Monday (March 3, 2008), at Monsignor Bojnowski Manor in New Britain. Born in Hartford, November 12th, 1907, son of the late Morris J. and Mary (Ealhan) Foley, he resided in the Hartford area his entire life. Prior to retiring, he was a Wholesale Liquor Distributor. He was a communicant at St. Justin Church in Hartford and was active with the Rockville Elks Lodge #1539. Thomas is survived by his three children, Barbara Jean Foley of Rockville, Dr. Donald H. Foley and his wife Bonnie of Potomac, MD and Denise B. Cahill of Middletown, his four grandchildren, Heather Fitzpatrick, Scott Foley, Thomas P. Foley and Corinne Boisi, his five great-grandchildren, Luke, Riley, William, Julia and James Lucas and a niece and her husband Ret. General George and Mary Anne Williams. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated Monday March 10 at 11 a.m. in the Cathedral of St. Joseph, 140 Farmington Ave., Hartford. Burial will be in Mount St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice c/o VITAS, 255 Pitkin St., East Hartford, CT 06108 or to Rockville Elks –BPOE Rockville Lodge, 9 N.
