I went to CHS with Val and I have to say she was one of the most animated, fun loving, and high spirited girls I knew! If she was in a crowd she would stand out with her natural carisma and beautiful smile! I will always remember her for that!

I am so sorry for your loss. I went to college with Val, we were in the news club together. She was so driven and dedicated. She always had smile and a positive attitude. She was such a wonderful person. My prayers, thoughts and heart go out to her family and friends. She will be dearly missed.

I went to college at Eastern with Val and had many classes with her over the years there since we were both communication majors. She was always so smart and so happy during classes and she was always talking about Tim, how happy she was and it really was a shock and sad to hear the news of her passing. I never in a million years would have known that she was sick because she was always so happy and lively. She was such a beautiful girl and a very inspiring person to know. To Valeries family I am very sorry for your loss and pray for you during this difficult time.

I went to high school with Val and she was a great, happy, and very sweet young lady and friend. I think back on the great time we had on our Senior Trip to Myrtle Beach. She will truly be missed. You are in my thoughts. God Bless you during this difficult time.

I graduated from CHS with Val and although we weren't exactly friends i remember she would always smile and say hi as she passed people in the halls, when i think of Val i remember this sweet friendly girl who will be forever in our hearts and forever missed.

I had the pleasure of meeting Val through my daughter Jessica who worked with her at The Hartford inviting her and some friends up to a cottage I rented at Highland Lake a few years ago. She was a star in her white bikini and we had a blast. She came to my house to visit sometime after that day too. I will continue to wear the gray rubber bracelet she gave me; "Say it, Fight It & Cure it"

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Val's family and all who loved her and were fortunate to know her. Her best friend Tim Ruwet is my cousin and he and his family always spoke so highly of Val. We are very sorry for your loss and pray that you will find comfort in fond memories. She will always be with you - smile often for her as I'm sure she would want that.

I met Valerie at The Hartford when she just started in the annuities contact center. It was my pleasure to be her mentor and work with her each and every day and we became friends as well as co-workers. Her smile, her brightness, and her loveliness brought much joy to everyone. I only knew Val for a short time. I started in the lab at Dr. S. office a little less then a year ago. But Val truly touched my heart from the first day we met. Because of her, I have a appreciation for pink I never had before. Her smile lit up a room & her laugh was contagious. She was angel on earth. I am so very sorry for your loss. Her passion, grace & vibrance will never be forgotten.

Val your were an awesome women. When ever I think of you I think of your bright smile and joyful laugh. The Lord was ready to hear you laugh and see you smile in his kingdom forever.
My condolences to the Ludwig family. I know this is a hard time but try to remember that Val would not want you to hurt but to be happy that her pain has gone away. All of those who believe will once again be reunited with the Lord.
