Kenneth Gerald Niebuhr

Kenneth (Ken) Gerald Niebuhr was taken home to Our Lord and Savior on the early morning of April 27, 2023 after a short battle with brain cancer. He was 81 years old. He was born in La Crosse, Wisconsin to parents Richard and Evelyn Niebuhr.
On April 29, 1989, Ken married the love of his life Jennifer. Ken was the proudest of his wife for her loyalty, kindness, and ability to transform him into a snappy dresser. Ken and Jennifer moved to Lake Havasu City in 1997 from Grand Lake, Colorado. They had previously lived in Minneapolis.
Ken enjoyed the wheeling and dealing of commercial real estate - buying, selling, trading, and most of all negotiating property.
Committed to a life of servitude, Ken served in the US Navy where he was appointed to be the ship's barber. He also attained the high honor of being a Scottish Rite Mason for over 50 years, and a faithful and dedicated Noble of the Mystic Shrine for over 50 years at the Grand Lodge of MN. He was also a member of the American Legion, Fraternal order of the Eagles and an active member of Mount Olive Lutheran Church.
Ken is survived by his loving wife Jennifer, son John Niebuhr of Minneapolis, brother David (Deanna) Niebuhr of Rochester, Minnesota., and his sidekick Marcelino. "Uncle Ken" was blessed with beautiful nieces and nephews.
Known for his kindness and compassion, Ken will be missed by many. A special thank you to the VA hospital in Prescott for the outstanding care they provided during Ken's illness.
Please join us on June 23, 2023, at Mount Olive Lutheran Church located at 2170 Havasupai Blvd, Lake Havasu City, AZ at 1 p.m. Following the memorial, a light luncheon will be held at Shugrue's Restaurant at 1425 North McCulloch Blvd.
