L.A. was born November 17, 1940 to the late Nettie and Lloyd Willbanks, Sr. in Atlanta, GA.
A visitation of family and friends will be held for L.A. on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel 376 Fairview Road Stockbridge, Georgia 30281. Immediately following the visitation will be graveside military honors and celebration of his life at 1:00 PM at Fairview Memorial Gardens 164 Fairview Road Stockbridge, Georgia 30281.

Jeff, Mrs Willbanks and Family, I've just learned of Mr Willbanks passing. Anita and I are So sorry for your loss. I cannot emphasize enough what he meant to me as a young boy. The days of fishing down on the little rivers of Henry County, Flying down the old dirt roads, the swimming holes, all the fun of a long ago time. He was like a father to me. I spoke with him not long ago and was so happy to see him again. Bless you all.
