HAZEL SALMON Obituary
HAZEL LUCILLE SALMON, 85, of Milton, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019, in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington. She was born August 8, 1933, in Cabell County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Walter and Mary Hayes. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Austin Earl Salmon, and a granddaughter, Sheena Salmon. Hazel is survived by one son, Tim Salmon of Milton; two grandchildren, Leslie Salmon of Huntington and Logan Salmon of Birmingham, Ala.; two brothers, Freddie Hayes of Ona and Pete Hayes of Milton; one sister, Rosie Hensley of Huntington; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, January 28, 2019, at Heck Funeral Home, Milton, with Pastor Jeff Dailey officiating. Burial will follow in Harvey Creek Cemetery, Hamlin, W.Va. Friends may call one hour prior to the service Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Huntington.
