Margaret Mayberry Obituary

DECATUR - Margaret Lucille Mayberry, 74, of Decatur, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2012 at her home with her family by her side. Margaret was born on November 22, 1937 in Decatur the daughter of Maynard Roy and Frances (Edgecomb) Melhorn. She had worked as a line worker for Kelly Potato Chips. She married Larry D. Mayberry on December 29, 1979 in Macon, IL. Surviving are husband, Larry; son, Larry K. Marler and ex-wife, Billie Boyd; sister, Carol Melhorn; brothers, Maynard E. Melhorn and wife Marylee; Ronald L. Melhorn and wife Linda; four grandchildren, Mamie M. Willis and husband Leroy L. Willis; Margie M. Bilyeu-Clark and husband John E. Bilyeu-Clark, Keith A. Marler, and David L. Marler; and seven great-grandchildren, Darren L. Willis, Dalton S. Willis, Dylon R. Willis, Shaylie R. Willis, Jessica M. Lowe, Kaia E. Bilyeu-Clark, Chloe R. Bilyeu-Clark. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one nephew. Margaret was a very well loved person to many family members and friends. She will always be loved and missed. We will all see you again someday. We all love you. Services to celebrate Margaret's life will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 1, 2012 in Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour before service. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery and conclude with the "Flight Home" ceremony. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
