Timothy Unger Obituary

DECATUR - Timothy J. Unger, 67, of Donna Texas, formerly of Owaneco, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2009 at Bit-O- Heaven in Donna, Texas. Graveside services to celebrate Tim's life will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, March 21, 2009 at Graceland Cemetery with Pastor Melissa Ebken officiating. Visitation will be held from 9-10:45 am, Saturday at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be sent to First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), 317 South Main Street, Donna, Texas 78537. Online condolences and memories may be shared with the family at www. gracelandfairlawn.com. Tim was born on October 29, 1941 in McAllen, Texas, the son of John and Virginia (Devore) Unger. He married Jill Hendrickson on July 5, 1985 in Decatur. He worked at Caterpillar for over 40 years as an electrician and a Tech Supervisor. Tim had a love for fishing, running, painting, and all his friends in Donna, Texas. He will be sadly missed by his wife: Jill, parents: John and Virgina Unger, Sr, five children: Timothy Unger of Terre Haute, IN, David (Terry) Unger of Dana, IN, Todd (Leanne) Unger of Taylorville, Kimberely Unger and Scott Urbanowicz of St. Louis, MO, one brother: John (Pam) Unger III, four grandchildren, and a beloved cat named Hanna Cabana.
