Dear Farida,
Was looking through my memory book and found correspondence from Pentti -- words about his work and his family. Such warm expression, like he was here with me. So I "googled" him and found this notice. Such a shock, such a loss.

Hello Farida. I am so sorry for your loss. I was Pentti's secretary at U of A and he was the sweetest man. I loved that he translated Finnish poems into English and in fact he presented me with one of his works. Such a loss. <3

Dear Farida and family,
I was shocked to read in Monday' s paper of Pentti's death. Gerry so much enjoyed their work together in Physiology & Biophysics at Dalhousie. Strangely enough they were only a few weeks apart in age and Gerry died one day before Pentti. And only recently he was discussing Pentti's many contributions to Cardiology.

The Rautaharju Family have my deepest sympathy. Philippines 4:6,7 says that God has the peace that excel all thought and guards the heart, may that peace be with your family during this difficult time.
