Sandra Hart Obituary
July 12, 1942 - February 6, 2025
Miami, Florida - Sandra Joan Patterson Hart, lovingly known as Sandy, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2025, at age 82. Born in Toronto, Canada, she built a life filled with love, family, and a passion for learning.
She was the devoted wife of the late Paul Allen Hart, Jr., and a loving mother to six children: Paul, Kristina, David, Patricia, Juliet, and Douglas. Her greatest joy was her twelve cherished grandchildren.
A brilliant scholar, Sandy earned her B.A. from the University of Toronto, a Master's in English Literature from FAU, and pursued further graduate studies at the University of Miami. She shared her love of learning as a college instructor and applied her intellect as an accountant for a prestigious Miami law firm.
An avid reader and exercise enthusiast, she found peace in daily walks and strength in her deep faith, especially during her brave battle with cancer.
A memorial service will be held this summer in Canada to celebrate her life. Sandy's kindness, wisdom, and love will be deeply missed but always remembered.

Sandy and I met at Victoria College, University of Toronto. Together with Susan Clarke and Bev Oram, we spent time every day sharing our experiences with one another. Even though we were far apart in later years, we were often able to come together to reminisce and catch up on each others´ lives.

Sandy is a blessing to all of us who knew and loved her. She worked with me at my law firm for three decades, and was a dedicated friend and senior staff member. This year, Sandy missed our annual Lunch at Joe's, with an assurance she would see us all soon enough. But the chance to talk about goings on (locally and elsewhere) was special. Sandy is missed but never forgotten. Z"L
