The Woodlands, Texas - Willard Kenneth Splittstoesser Radcliffe, 75, The Woodlands TX, passed away suddenly on January 4, 2023 as the victim of a fatal pedestrian motor vehicle accident.
Willard was born on September 12, 1947 to Willard Kenneth Splittstoesser and Priscilla Evelyn Jane Radcliffe Splittstoesser in Detroit Michigan.
After graduating from Redford High School in 1965 he went on The University of Michigan, Wayne State University and The University of Florida where he obtained his law degree. Will was active in the Delta Chi fraternity and loving theater, he became active in local theater while in college and joined the Rosedale Park Players in Michigan. Will swore in as an attorney in 1974, after which he began a long and very successful career in the Florida judicial system as a Magistrate from Dade County North Miami.
Shortly upon retiring, Will moved to the Houston area where he enjoyed a socially rich life, making countless friends. He became active in both Toast Masters and the Conroe Theaters where he enjoyed the true friendship of many wonderful people. Will also enjoyed traveling and residing in both Prescott Arizona and White Lake Michigan where he stayed warm (or cooled off), made friends and visited family. Of course, regardless where he happened to be, he followed the U of M Wolverines, as he loved football! Will also had a fondness for all things Disney, Murder Mysteries, Peanuts and uplifting sayings.
Will is survived by his brother Clyde Lewis Splittstoesser (wife Sharon), sister Tella Jane (Splittstoesser) McLaren-Cook and Lynn D. (Splittstoesser) Clark as well as by numerous nieces/nephews, great nieces/great nephews.
He will always be remembered for his intelligence, quick wit, sense of humor, laughter, and gentle endless encouragement. He was beloved by his family and will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him and being his friend.
