Amelia Morrell Obituary
Amelia "Belle", age 94, peacefully passed from this life into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, June 15 at Ballad Hospice House after a short hospital stay. Belle was born in Bristol, TN on November 10, 1929, to J. Howard and Mary Broyles Greene. She met, married and loved her high school sweetheart, Raymond Morrell for 75 years.
Belle is preceded in death by her son, Gary Morrell; her parents; her sister, Helen Austin; brothers, Sherrill Greene and Hank Greene. Those left with a huge hole in our hearts are her husband, Raymond Morrell; daughter, Anita and husband, Ron Fink; daughter-in-law, Naomi Morrell; sisters-in-law, Bertie Jo Morrell and Mary Greene; plus, fourteen nieces and nephews.
There will be a Graveside service open to all on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Sunrise Cemetery, Bluff City, TN. A Celebration of Life for friends and family to visit and share remembrances will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024, between 2 to 4 p.m. at First Christian Church of Bluff City. Belle had requested in her pre-arrangements that in lieu of flowers donations be made to First Christian Church of Bluff City. I´m so sorry for your loss. Belle was a cousin from the Howard Greene side of the family and I remember many happy visits with our families. Prayers for all of you!
