Steven Brown Obituary

Steve Brown, 54, a loving husband, father, son and friend, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, Nov., 10, 2010. Steve was born on March 6, 1956 in Denison, the son of Dr. William Herbert Brown and Nalda Lowry Brown.
Steve graduated from Denison High School in 1974 and Texas A&M University in 1978 with a degree in civil engineering and where he was a member of Chi Epsilon and Tau Beta Pi fraternities. He later earned his Master's Degree from The University of Texas at Arlington in 1988 where he was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma fraternity. Steve was employed with Jacobs Engineering. He married Wei (Lucy) Wu May 10, 2000 in Plano.
He is survived by his wife, Lucy; daughter Caitlyn; sons, Nash and Alexander Ryan, and their mother, Natalie, all of Plano; father, Dr. W.H. Brown of Denison; brother, Brian Brown of Houston; sister, Cissy Brown of Houston; brother, Alan Brown and his wife Mary, of Denison; nephew, Chris Brown and his wife Tressi, of Denison; and niece, Lindsay Willeford and her husband Craig, of Sherman.
Steve is also survived by Lucy's mother, Lu Feng Yuan; Lucy's brother, Wu Qiu Jing and his wife Wang Lin, and their daughter Wu Yu Meng, all of Beijing, China.
Steve was preceded in death by his mother, Nalda Lowry Brown.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Monday, Nov. 15, 2010, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen. The family will receive friends during a visitation beginning at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Final resting place will be in Denison at Fairview Cemetery.
