Walt and I first met in 1979 when LOF opened the Sherman plant. He had just moved from Collinwood, Canada. I also will remember his smile. He was a great Mentor, teacher and friend. Nothing EVER upset him. His advise to me was not to worry about things that you cannot control. He loved his kids and grand kids. He talked about all his grand kids and I could tell that they were very special in his life. God bless you Walt.

I worked with Walt during my years at LOF. He was so funny and always brought a smile to your face. I went to his retirement "Roast" when he retired from LOF...and one of his many remembered quotes was "There are 47 doors here, and if you don't like it here, you are welcome to leave!" Everyone that worked with Walt got a kick out of that. Walt has gone to a better life now. I loved working with him.

OMG, what a great man. Terry and I both worked with Walt in Sherman at LOF. Walt hired Terry when LOF opened in Sherman. I was Walt's secretary in the Mold Shop, I could always count on laughing everyday working with him. You all were very blessed to say you were in his family, what a truly wonderful guy he was. Be very very proud of him. We will be praying for your whole family.

Kim, Kris and family,
Were so sorry for your loss. Walt was a good friend and co-worker of Dick. We had many many years of his dear friendship. Your right, he always had a smile on this face. He did love you kids and his dearest Charlene. We will miss him too. God had taken a great man, but now he will be with his love once again. We pray for all of you.
