Alvin B. Svehla

Alvin B. Svehla&bb&Alvin went home to be with his Lord and Saviour on July 17, 2002 at his home in Aberdeen, Washington. He was a unique man who shared his faith with all who had an ear to hear.&pe& Alvin was born on November 22, 1926 to Martin and Viola Svehla in Tilden, Illinois. He moved to Everett, Washington in his early years and for a time worked as a machinist at a Timber Company. While in Everett, he was very active with the Christian Business Men's Association. After moving to Aberdeen, he maintained many friendships in the city of Everett.&pe&Alvin is survived by a sister, Roberta, now living in Vista, California, a son, Michael, and nieces, one very special niece, Cathy Younger of Los Angeles, California. His three brothers; Martin, Paul and Wesley preceded Alvin in death. &pe&The family and his friends would like to thank Rick Lacefield of Rocky's Pizza in Aberdeen, who acted as Alvin's caregiver in his declining days. At Alvin's request, no service was held.
